A word from the President · Road to Montréal 2027

Dear CNVT family,

Five summers ago a handful of veterans gathered around a backyard barbecue and dared to imagine a national tournament of our own. Today the Canada National Veteran Tournament unites 14 member clubs from Halifax to Grande Prairie — players over 35 who still love the game, and the families and communities who travel with them. On behalf of the Executive Committee, welcome to the road to Montréal 2027.

Goodwillers FC will host our sixth edition on the July 1st weekend, and they have already raised the bar: a historic gala night at Le Windsor, a city that lives for football, and a programme built to honour every club that has carried this federation since 2022. Our goal before January 2027 is clear — 16 member clubs on the pitch. Two seats remain, and I invite every veteran club in Canada to claim one.

To our sponsors and partners, thank you for believing in what we build. To our volunteers, referees and medical teams, you are the heartbeat of every match day. And to every player: keep training, keep laughing, keep showing the next generation what brotherhood looks like at 35, 45 and beyond.

See you in Montréal. One Nation · One Game · One Legacy.

President 2022-26

In 2022, a handful of Canadian veteran clubs came together with one dream: to build a national stage where players aged 35 and over could still compete with pride, reconnect as brothers, and celebrate the game that shaped their lives. From that first gathering, the Canada National Veteran Tournament was born — a movement that now unites communities from coast to coast, one tournament every summer.
